About SkinSwatch
What SkinSwatch is
SkinSwatch is an independent search for CS2 skins by color. It helps you match a weapon, knife, gloves, stickers, charms and agents to one theme, and shows what that costs on several markets at once.
The site does not sell items or broker trades. Market links lead to listings you can check yourself.
How colors are read
Every item has a palette worked out from its images. For skins and agents the Steam image is blended with our own studio renders of the front and back of the model, made from the game files, so the whole skin counts and not one camera angle.
Colors are compared in OKLab, a color space where distance follows how different two colors look. Saturated colors weigh more than the same area of gray, so a thin red stripe still counts.
A share such as "red 40%" is the part of the visible surface in that color family after this weighting. Shades of one family are added up.
How matches are scored
In "Contains" mode every picked color must be clearly visible. In "Proportions" mode the share it takes matters too, and colors outside the palette lower the score. The percentage on a result is that score.
The matching items on an item page and in the loadout builder are the ones whose palettes are closest. The builder also weighs contrast and accents, so a loadout does not turn into one flat block of color.
Where the data and prices come from
The item list, rarities, collections and float ranges come from the open ByMykel CSGO-API. Prices are the lowest asks on Skinport (every 10 minutes) and on CSFloat, Buff163, CS.MONEY, Market.CSGO and Steam through CSGOTrader (once a day). Every item page says which day its prices are from.
Rare listings with a special pattern, float or expensive stickers are left out of the usual price range.
